Statistical Days 2026

About the conference

Statistical Days 2026 will be held on May 28-29, 2026 at Hanken School of Economics in Helsinki. The keynote speaker will be Professor Aldo Solari (Ca’ Foscari University of Venice).

The program for the Statistical Days is ready for the talks, but you can still register for the poster competition. Please let Pekka Pere (pekka.j.pere@aalto.fi) know if you would like to present a poster at the Statistical Days. The winner of the poster competition will be awarded a prize of €200!

Time and place

Time: 28.5.-29.5.2026.

Place: Hanken School of Economics, Arkadiankatu 22, 00100 Helsinki.

Registration and participation fee

Early registration (13.2.-30.4.2026):

  • Members of the Finnish Statistical Society (dinner included): €85 
  • Non-members (dinner included): €150
  • Student members of the Statistical Society with dinner: €80
  • Students without a student membership of the Statistical Society with dinner: €90
  • Students without dinner: €10
  • There is no participation fee for speakers at the Statistical Days, but registration is required! Speakers will receive a registration link once their presentation proposal has been accepted

  • Members of the Finnish Statistical Society (dinner included): €105
  • Non-members (dinner included): €160
  • Student members of the Finnish Statistical Society with dinner: €90

  • Students without dinner: €10
  • There is no participation fee for speakers at Statistical Days, but registration is required! Speakers will receive a registration link once their presentation proposal has been accepted

Registration cancellation:

  • If the registration is canceled by May 18, 2026, the registration fee will be refunded in full.
  • The registration fee will not be refunded if the cancellation is made after May 18, 2026!
