The Finnish Statistical Society is a non-profit scientific society founded in 1920. The purpose of the Statistical Society is to promote the research, teaching and application of statistics and to act as a link between statisticians and people who do statistics.
The Statistical Society has approximately 300 members who work in universities, research institutes, state and municipal organizations, associations and companies mainly in research, planning, teaching and expert positions. The membership also includes statistics students.
The Finnish Statistical Society's 2nd edition of the Glossary of Statistics is now also a search engine. You can get the 1st edition of the glossary as your own from Tiedekirja.
