Membership

You can become a member of the Finnish Statistical Society by filling out the electronic membership application form. New members are approved at the board meeting. You can report changes to your membership information using the electronic change form.

Membership fee

• Regular member 25 euro / year
• Student member 10 euro / year
• Corporate or community member 200 euro / year
• Lifetime member 250 euro
• Supporting member 100 euro / year

There is no membership fee for honorary and free members. More information about the different types of membership is provided in the rules of the Society.

Honorary members

At its annual meeting, the Society nominates individuals who have made distinguished contributions to statistics or other statistical fields. See the list of current honorary members of the Statistical Society.

Membership letters

Registered members of the Society receive a membership letter via email twice a year. Here you can read public versions of the Society's membership letters.
