The Finnish Statistical Society is organizing an afternoon seminar on 13 May 2019, at the Aalto university campus in Otaniemi. Taking place from 13.00 to 17.00; the seminar will discuss statistics, AI, neural networks and their respective applications. The seminar will focus particularly on differences between AI and statistics and how statisticians can benefit from AI research and AI researchers correspondingly from statistics.
